Before and After

I recently bought a new set of clippers so that I could cut Tyson's hair. Today was that day. I probably should have waited until after nap but I wanted to get it done. I think it looks super cute. 7/8 inch cut because the 1 inch barely took anything off. Overall it wasn't as drastic as I thought it would be. I might sit him down again after nap and try to get it shaped up if it needs it, but for now i'd rather not make him any more miserable.

Before
After. He looks like a big boy in this picture with his big brown eyes and long eyelashes! Where oh where did my baby boy go.

Sand Monsters

This weekend has been a busy one for yard improvements including upgrading the size of the sandbox for the kids. They had a little 4ft by 4 ft and they now have an 8ft by 6ft. They played in it today after daddy added more sand. It ended badly with a sand fight so they were banished to the bathtub for an immediate cleansing. Now Tyson wants Pizza for dinner.
----------
What do you want Mom? I'm busy.
Taylor packing down the sand for her crab castle.
My third child. The Huggly. He eats all things he shouldn't when outside.
Tyson's chubby little hand. I Love that boy!
He was all smiles and perfectly happy to spend more time outside today.

Zoo Day

It was a great day to be at the zoo. Not too hot, Not too cold. It was pretty much perfect. We walked for about 5 hours before we headed home. Didn't get very good pics of the monkey's and apes but they were not in picture friendly locations. These are just a sample of some of the pics I got of the animals. Definitely LOVE the 70-300 lens as it lets me get up close and personal with these amazing creatures. We will definitely have to make a return trip.

Cat Napping
Picture Worthy Pose
The Snow Leopard was a bit tired
Camels are super ugly but still cool to look at
Its easier to photograph a giraffe if you cut off its body, but I did get a few full body shots too.
Just a neat bird of some sort...I forgot to look at the sign
Tyson being a stinker not wanting his picture taken with sissy
Somali Wild Ass (the name on the sign)
He doesn't look very friendly even when he's asleep
Goofy boy again. Wouldn't let me take his picture unless he got to hold his cup. He's usually all about getting in the pictures.
Taylor Loves the Zoo
....and she really loves penguins!
He looks like he wants to fly
Taylor and a snake as we entered the Elephant area...Notice the Pink Penguin she had to have when we left the penguin house.
Not a very hungry Hippo at the moment. It was rather lazy.
Practically Posing
Baby Elephant. There were two!
Overall a great visit, but a bit of a lazy day for A Lot of the animals. We are hoping to catch a sea lion show next time.
