St. Patrick's Day at the Park

The weather was gorgeous so after errands we ventured to the park. I decided to try a different park and it was excellent. The playground area was all new and the ground was flat (a plus for a certain little boy who doesn't like walking on uneven ground). There is a little lake and a garden area. Very Nice we will be going back for sure. I couldn't keep up with Taylor she was running with all the other kids that were there. Tyson on the other hand just wandered around watching all the kids. He hasn't quite figured out what he's supposed to do there. These are some of my favorites from the day!

Look at those Tears
Trying to figure out exactly what is going on around him
Ready for a Nap

Looking for the ducks on the lake
Climbing
Peeking through the rails of the bridge

She's Been Practicing...

Taylor absolutely cannot wait till she gets to go to school. She's a smart cookie and has been practicing her name on her doodle. The one I am about to post is one that she did all by herself. Other times I write it first and she follows and does a pretty good job I might add. We have her pre-k screening Thursday, March 12 and should get a pretty good idea weather or not she will be able to go or if she will have to wait until Kindergarten next year. My fear is that they will say she is too smart and doesn't need it and I guess that is a good thing, but her want to go and my desire for her to learn the school setting has us hopeful.

Baby No More

Hitting the one year mark for Tyson means not only is he no longer a baby, but he is also doing without something he has had since birth. No more FORMULA for this TODDLER. I just can't believe they have to grow up so fast. Now Phase 2 will be to rid him from the bottle, but that doesn't look like its going to happen anytime soon. The kid absolutely will not drink from a sippy cup. He turns it upside down, chews on the bottom, chews on the handles, chews on the spout (sensing a pattern here) and then throws it down and waves his hands in front of his face telling me he does NOT want it.
